Frozen peeled sator beans belonging to the Cyano legume family. They are also known as parkia speciosa, sataw (สะตอ), petai, peteh, bitter bean, stinky bean, and are very popular in South and Southeast Asia. The name stink bean comes from its characteristic methane-like aroma. Despite its "interesting" smell, it is very tasty and nutritious, as it is rich in amino acids, fiber and is an incredible source of energy. Used in stir-fry dishes with curry pastes and sambal pastes along with ingredients such as garlic, chili and shrimp paste.
