Umeshu plum wine is produced according to a traditional Japanese recipe where ume plums are boiled in strong shochu alcohol and sweetener until they turn golden in color and acquire a strong sweet and sour taste. The addition of whole ume plums gives umeshu an even more fruity flavor.
Served with ice cubes, cocktails or soda.
